Heinrich’s Day on a Farm

Dream: Day at the farm
Heini spent most of the morning at the Redberry strawberry farm, shown around by the farm owner Mark Miller. He got the opportunity to see the farm and all its strawberry fields. He also got to ride on a motorbike, drive a miniature train, as well as mow the lawns with a baby tractor! After picking his own strawberry’s (his favourite!) in the fields, we sat down in the shade for lunch and a rest. Heini’s favourite animal, a monkey/gorilla joined us for lunch: Heini loved his new soft toy! Soon it was off to Red Barn chicken farm, which is 15 minutes’ drive through beautiful farmlands. Heini learnt about the free range chickens; how they are raised, and how they collect the chickens and their eggs. He held a few week old baby chicks, giving each a kiss on the head! He also got to meet turkeys, horses, donkeys and giant Great Dane’s. All in all, Heini had an eye opening and exciting day on the farmlands!
