Jessica’s horse ride
One early, chilly and misty Saturday, the Bulman family went off to the Zevenwacht Equestrian Estate to see and experience their daughter Jessica’s dream being fulfilled. Upon arrival at the estate, an unflustered Logan was saddled up and waiting. The dream bear Jessica had received on the way also had to come along for the ride. With help, Jessica was on Logan and they rode all the way to the wine estate itself – the scenery was spectacular, especially as the sun started to come out. Jessica was in her element and had a huge smile the whole time, whilst patting Logan now and again. Once they arrived at the wine estate, there was a picnic ready and waiting for the whole family with baskets laden with treats and snacks. Jessica had her own picnic basket and inside it, there were surprise presents hidden under the food. As Jessica meticulously started unpacking her basket, she saw the wrapping and paper at the bottom and pulled out her gifts. Her brother Marc also had some goodies to open and Jessica and Marc played together whilst eating. After a delicious lunch, Jessica, her new volunteer bear and Reach For A Dream, went off for a walk through the gardens of the estate. Jessica was chattering away, and so was her Dream bear – like any young girl, the bear became her best friend, yet only Jessica could speak and understand what he was saying. As the party of three continued to walk through the gardens, something became visible in an opening in the distance, which caused Jessica to stop dead in her tracks. A large wrapped parcel. Just when her smile couldn’t get any bigger it almost doubled in size – inside the parcel, Jessica’s dream baby dolly.
